Heyo.
Sorry on the little delay, Ive currently been helping out and having some fun in Kharazan. One Khara epic for me, yay \o/.
Let me say first up - Black Morass is a pain, If you cant do it with a PuG, and fail consecutively.. theres nothing wrong with you. Its hard for PuGs to get the tactics nailed down (Oh Shadow Labyrith, How doth thee PuG's shame your name...) If you fail with a guild group im sure its either group composition or just bad luck :).
Right. Kharazan.
My Raid Community had a little fun in Khara, Downing Attumen and attempting Moroes on a Friday. I got attuned on the Sunday, So I will have to wait untill the next run (Being the only Holy/Disc priest attuned helps, I'll tell ya.) to see Attumen go down. We attempted Moroes on the Sunday and managed to slaughter him eventually. All good fun. We then went on to the Maiden and one-shotted her.. and now shes Nerfed. Free loot! I have the healing bracers she dropped, a VERY nice piece of kit there.
We moved on to the Opera event (Will go into some detail) the other day and got the Big Bad Wolf. (Note On The Following: This is not fake) Much like the story, the "oh what big teeth you have" chat boxes are quite fun.. and then you get. "Oh Granny, What phat lewts you have!".. yes.. To which the old lady responds to by morphing into a huge werewolf (Sons Of Arugal Model)and proceeds to yell "ALL THE BETTER TO OWN YOU WITH!!".. Yes.. We managed to get him down and are currently stopping at the Curator. Were not well enough geared to down him yet. All in good time.
Kharazan is a nice place, It has some icky pulls and you will wipe alot on your first goes there but its part of the process, and all in all its enjoyable. If you dont mind wiping.. Why raid?
Im not going to go into too much detail or describe the boss fights, WoWWiki (google it you lazy un's) has some decent tactics and stuff you can delve into. Will comment on the Opera Event though!
After talking to the Stage Manager he walks out onto the stage, and proceeds to talk about the play and such. Your confronted with a large audience of ghosts with cheering and clapping and stuff. It is very interesting and fun to experience. Nice event!
Thats all I can really think of so far. Will probably be hitting the Heroics/Instance Farming/Farming Early Kharazan for a while yet. As you know ive kind of left my shaman behind(Cylintir) and am currently focusing on the above with my Priest (Valiya) So feel free to stalk me on the armoury.

Just a small post.
The Armoury.
Is it good? Yes.
Is it great? Maybe
Is it an invasion of ones privacy? Kinda.
But then again, what do you have to hide?
Its a great little thing in my experience so far - Fun and fairly intuitive, but it still lacks a good few features, bag contents, alternate gear sets, etc etc. Theres not much i can personally say bad or good about it. But thats just me.
I do not know why Blizzard choose to do this, but hey if they have the money they may aswell spend it on us!

I No Life, Therefore I Am.
Ah quit it you mysterious commentators, but on the other side, thanks for reminding me.
For those who care, which seem to number at 2, And DM was right on the money - I have been EXTREMELY occupied with BC. Not blogging for one day turned into 2, then 3.. and so on.
But now im back!
I have been no lifing it since release. What can I say? Its great. My Shaman is 70, My Priest is 70 abd i'll be levelling those old alts sometime in the future. My Blood Elf Mage made it to level 20 and is ready to be played again in the future.
Of course, Im not the only one. As the title says, The creed for many a MMORPG player is "I No Life, Therefore I Am." Of course, this is not the majority or we wouldnt have a expansion mainly orientating around casual players. Yes, Casuals, dont argue with me or ill smite you.
I Levelled my Shaman (Pretty much neglecting my priest) Resto Specced upto 70 and was probably in the top 100 to reach 70 Horde Side on my server. I got his Kharazan Key and so forth - and hit a snag, a bit like tobold. The guild i had joined was already established as a good raiding guild pre-tbc. It was fairly well led with a good underlying network of friends and such - I slotted in okay, filling Healer spots in 5 mans. But, As i say - Like Tobold - The same 10 People were running Khara over and over. After not getting into any Kharazan raids i'd signed up for, I delisted and havnt logged in since I heard my Alliance Raid Community had a shortage on the Healer/Priest side of things.
So, Last Saturday I logged in and respecced shadow. I dinged 70 Yesterday. That's twice ive dinged 70 in Blades Edge Mounains. And as for my priest - I think thats where i'll be staying for a while.
As for Questing, BC has many parallels with one or two quest chain differences from faction to faction. Blades Edge of course, has pretty much the parallel of the Horde Quests. The Horde Q's being "go kill fey drakes" and such, and the Alliance being "go kill dire wolves" - rinse and repeat.
I think i could probably do it once, twice, or thrice more. But thats about it. But thats ALOT of content.
Sooo, Look through the blog, look me up, heck even stalk me in game. Upto you!
Moving away from WoW for a second, I think you know what im going to mention.
C&C 3 - Demo. 1 Word - Awesome.
Now people are like "graphics lawl" - and whilst im disappointed with the whole building collapse thing thats about it. One must remember that for a game thats been in development for a good portion of time, The game engine has limits unless they completely redisgned it today, which would make it release even later.. no thanks.
It plays decently, looks decent and seems to be a fairly enjoyable game with decent acting in the cinematics (Gogo Cylons/Sharon/Starship Troopers.. I mean GDI Lieutenant/Commander somethingortheother) - So yeah, some decent actors pulling it off well enough.
Apparently you can play NoD in the Demo too, but im not going to trouble myself too much with that - Its a recommended download if you care what I think.
Anyways, If i dont post again soon - Ive forgotten >_>. In that case post a comment and i get bombarded about it. Hehe.

Burning Imbalance & Back To Greens.
Finally, this damn site lets me post!
Before I get started, I'd just like to update you with goings on. I made another Blood Elf Mage on Emerald Dream to level with my friend, Hes called Caydien (Cayden being taken..) and is currently level 11, See what i said about changing my mind ? :).
My Shaman is Level 64 and has become a force within his own right as of lately, my priest is still inactive as im too poor to subscribe that account till later this week, but that account has been upgraded to TBC.
Right, Burning Imbalance...
Im refering to the good old "omgwtfroflmaobbq" debate of Population Ratio's. Now, for all intents and purposes assume i only have my shaman. Im playing on a full and fairly popular European Realm, with queues that go over 200 as of late. Ive managed, possibly due to luck - a decent guild and returning players/alts - Been able to do instances in Hellfire, but Zangarmarsh? Not yet at least.
The "burning" imbalance has gotten to me a little as of late, now theres 500 Blood Elves appearing - A decent few most likely Alliance players normally, now, this is good for solving the problem if one assumes they will level those characters indefinately, but its unlikely. In Hellfire ive been lucky to play fairly late when Alliance are in their low numbers and i can do most of the quests on my own (and thanks to those alliance who helped me out with my elite quests :D). I was just taken aback by the lag i get at the Citadel, there is literally just me surrounded by 30-40 alliance, fun, eh?
Maybe TBC will fix the imbalance a little - but the horde just doesnt seem to appeal to most, though, each to his/her own. Wish i could instantly get groups like the alliance seem to though :). Going to have to try this theory out on my Priest.
Now, Back to greens - back to basics as such.
My Shaman entered the Dark Portal equipped with "Ok" blues, and a whopping "28 Spell Damage" And about 6% Spell Crit - Uber, no?
Well, I respecced resto to get groups, of course, and grabbed some spell damage increasing talents (dictated by intellect) and pushed it to about.. 80 something? Cant remember now. Anyways, Since starting questing, picking up loot and so on i have gotten upto 13.xx% Spell Crit, and over 300 Spell Damage and nearly 500 Healing. Very Impressive if i do say so myself - Ive also gained about 1000 mana and 800 hp.
I think this shows the disparity but also that TBC pre+endgame will be something that will need alot of effort, why? I dont really know, but i have that feeling ... You know.. All i can say is im happy with the sheer amount of gold ive been picking up... I went into outland with 20g (yeh 20..), Ive earnt & spent about 200/300g since then, but now im back up to over 200g. Maybe the end of high gold prices?
Sure, some may think the end.. but, I say maybe because if its easier to get and thus easier to sell, someone will still buy it.. Maybe someone else can be more eloquent on that whole affair, I dont really want to blog about something i'd fudge up - Like this :D.

Finally Here.
My copy of the Burning Crusade came today. Thus why its been so long since my last blog post, I wanted something good to write about and this seems to fit the bill.
Ive only played for about an hour, But i made the Blood Elf Mage i said i would, just with a difference. I decided - after some thought of course, That my Mage would be Male. Ive named him Cayden and hes currently Level 7 on Argent Dawn RPPvE-EU. I do intend to level him and possibly a blood elf priest on another server, as im disillusioned with my current priestling. Although, Knowing me i will probably slink off back to her within a week.
I chose a male partly because i'd thought of a decent name, and contrary to what many seem to think - The Male Blood Elf model isnt that bad, infact, I quite like it. It looks quite bad in the char creation screen with the top of the chest being quite enlarged but once ingame it isnt too much like that, only slightly.
Ill be keeping you posted with my Shaman and Mages Progress throughout the Burning Crusade when i decide to logout :D. (Im currently in queue...). My Shaman has no instance end game gear and has only the Blue Champions Mail Headgaurd, so it will be fun to see how he works through the new content at the beginning.
My Shaman is Called Cylintir, and hes on Emerald Dream, PvE-Eu. Im not really ready to touch the Draenei yet, but we will see how it goes. Theres already 2 Level 70's (Gnome + Undead Mage) which raises a few alarming questions.. but, each to their own.
Anyways, Hope you've all been well and i wish you good journeys in the Burning Crusade if your lucky enough to be enjoying it, and condolences if your not!

The End Is Imminent.
So to speak.
In just 9/10 Days, The Burning Crusade Will Be Released. Present WoW will cease to exist. Dire Maul, Scholomance, Stratholme, and maybe UBRS, All Relegated to the doom of the forgotten corner. Or Are They?
It is possible they will get run by groups of level 58's.. but thats a matter for then.
2 New Races, 2 New Capitals.. Numerous new quests, and an entire new continent will be added to WoW. Another 2/3 Tiers of Armour and a multitude of item sets will be added. I for one am glad that for it, yet i am a little sad to be leaving the current WoW I know behind.
My Druid dinged 50 Today, Hes also considerably wealthy. Yeah, Well, 200g. Better than I had at that level at any rate. The Mainstay of my Economy on him was grinding Azshara - The Ghosts. From 46-50.. partially driving me insane - but efficient with my feral build. I think i looteded about 1200 Mageweave... >_<. And 2 Blues, a silly sword thing and the Fire Emblem Trinket.
My Shaman is also in the region of 53 - Come TBC I should have 3 Level 60's to drive me insane on the road to 70. I havn't experienced much of the revamped Alliance Outland Content, or any of the Horde Outland content yet - And I am eager too.
I think my time will mainly be spent on my Shaman and a Blood Elf alt, Which will be enjoyable with a few more new quests from the Blood Elves scattered around the world - as a new horde Player im enjoying the differences of the opposite faction and am looking forward to a new way of playing with the Horde as another lowbie and with my Shammy. Of Course, I plan to level my Druid and then my Priest in TBC.. but I have a while for that - depending when Blizzard decide on the next game changing expansion.
Unfortunately I dont think I will have TBC for near the Release. (Im refering to the fact if you order it you have to wait for shipping, so those people who have pre-ordered it are likely to get it on the 17th/18th/19th.) - But I should have it in January.
Whilst the end may be "nigh", A new beginning is also upon us - and we will have to see what it brings. Even if it is server crashes and login failures like tonight :).

5 Things You Didn't Know About Me
.. Not that you would know anything, but still.. Now.. time to think..
1) I never finished Secondary School. For those of you not in the United Kingdom, Secondary School is "High" School, or w/e. Its 11-16 or somesuch. Anyways, I had some issues during my last year and dropped out - Im currently doing my GCSE's at college though, so hey, not all doom and gloom.
2)I lived in New Zealand for 5/6 Months. Yeah, It was great. Its a lovely country with nice people and .. its just.. Clean, if you get my meaning. I lived in the suburbs of Wellington. Waikanaei I think, Near Kappanui, if im spelling any of this right. A Good Experience that i remember even though that was.. 7 or so years ago now.
3)Ive yet to work a day in my life. Now, im still young, but still. Ive done work EXPERIENCE, But iven ever been employed and thus earned money from a job. I earn money from doing odd things for my mum and from my EMA - A government incentive to encourage attendance at college. I get paid £30 a week to attend so, fun.
4)I cant stand Fish. Its odd, but im running out of ideas. Now, I like fish in the sense of pets, and sometimes fish fingers. But i just cant stand the smell or taste of all other fish, it makes me want to be ill - Infact, any kind of seafood except the aforementioned makes me feel ill.
5)The First 2 Pc Games I ever Played were Simcity 2000, And Warcraft 2. Heh, Its true. Ive been a warcraft fan for a while :). Ive been using computers for a looooooooong time now, and i will always remember the afternoons spent playing away on Warcraft 2, and indeed - Simcity.

4)I cant stand Fish. Its odd, but im running out of ideas. Now, I like fish in the sense of pets, and sometimes fish fingers. But i just cant stand the smell or taste of all other fish, it makes me want to be ill - Infact, any kind of seafood except the aforementioned makes me feel ill.
5)The First 2 Pc Games I ever Played were Simcity 2000, And Warcraft 2. Heh, Its true. Ive been a warcraft fan for a while :). Ive been using computers for a looooooooong time now, and i will always remember the afternoons spent playing away on Warcraft 2, and indeed - Simcity.
