Although ive probably just mis-spelled something in that sentence.. or this one. I do that alot. Oh well, moving on.. what to talk about.
Im trying to avoid the whole WAR vs WoW debacle, so not much I can discuss on that front. Nor am I keeping up with the Wrath Beta enough to comment properly on it. (Blacksmithing sockets woot?). Er, yeah ok maybe I just did some reading but thats not the point.
Soo... Yeah im screwed arnt I? SPORE anyone? No.. damn.
Oh, STO I suppose.
So yes, Star Trek Online is currently being fiddled with again - this time by Cryptic of CoH (never played) fame. Ive not personally played any of cryptics MMO's that im aware of, but I do like the direction they seem to be taking the game. It seems to be remaining feasible and viable whilst staying true to the spirit of ST without being overcomplicated.
Shame I cant say much else because info is scarce and its not coming out for years. Damn.
Apparently Damn is my new favourite word and this is the most epic fail blog post of all time.
Either way, Blizz, wheres my opt-in wotlk key eh? :P.

New Life in an old Classic.
Freelancer - oh yes.
Its old, it took me hours of tweaking to get it to work on Vista - but im glad I did it. It really is a classic. Good gameplay, decent graphics that stand up even today and a good game i would recommend to anyone.
Ive downloaded a mod for a server where RP is encouraged - and im currently engaged in trading to boost the cash reserves. Ive met a few old people from when I used to play and made a new friend or too.
Either way suffering from WoW burnout at the moment its a good standin that im enjoying playing - and it shows that even a game thats a few years old can still stand up, be unique, look good and play well.
I knew that already - but you get my point.
Eitherway, If you never delved into it before (and your not on vista unless you have the time to make it work) http://www.microsoft.com/games/freelancer/ - go to your favourite online shop and get it there if you like the sound of it!

A long time to stay silent.
Indeed.
Although I sincerely doubt anyone will start reading this again, I think I should at least invest a few minutes per week making at least 1 blog post. So, whats changed in the aeons ive been dead, you ask?
Well. Ive been banned, lost a 70 Paladin and a 70 Priest but sure learnt my lesson. I levelled a 70 Druid, another paladin to 70 and indeed another priest to 70, but had to quit the game and got rid of said account.
After that however, I still had my old shaman around - so the time came to put effort into him once more. Migrating him and indeed getting some nice gear before I once again took a break.
In the time between coming back from that and other such things, ive messed around on alts and had another priest hit 70, alongside a blood elf warlock. Times have indeed changed and so have the characters I now play. If anything, im awaiting the release of wotlk.
Only then will I probably go fully "hardcore" again, trying my hand at the death knight and not throwing away my chances for progression.
So, future, watch out!

Damn That Tobold :P.
Considering hes just linked a blog post that in turn links to an old post - Which links here.. Now may be a good time to rejuvinate this old dog.
In Short Order, My desire to post on this blog petered out whilst I was levelling my Blood Elf Paladin - However, Shortly after my WoW account was banned and so I rerolled quite recently, forgetting about this blog (with my email adress change, that is).
For anyone deciding to visit - This blog will probably be posted on again, But not as regularly as tobolds, so dont all nay-say like the last lot did!
I must also apologise in advance for any annoyances in my typing, This is recreational afterall.

As mentioned, I now play WoW Again - I am a Level 70 Druid on Argent Dawn, Currently Resto Specced, Fresh 70 and not yet raiding. I do hope to raid soon, have applied to one guild but currently waiting on response whilst upgrading my gear (Armory me if you wish - Ashyran @ Argent Dawn).
It was hard when I got banned before, Personal reasons and the ongoing dispute over the ban means im not going to discuss it on a blog as such. Nonetheless after a hiatus i returned and quickly levelled up this little tree person :D. Im enjoying Restoration healing a great deal and dont foresee tiring of it anytime soon, Though I hope any upcoming changes (Such as "free damage" mentioned by a blue sometime ago) help address my problem of being unable to do much solo.

Kharazan - A Few Spoilers, if ya like.
Heyo.
Sorry on the little delay, Ive currently been helping out and having some fun in Kharazan. One Khara epic for me, yay \o/.
Let me say first up - Black Morass is a pain, If you cant do it with a PuG, and fail consecutively.. theres nothing wrong with you. Its hard for PuGs to get the tactics nailed down (Oh Shadow Labyrith, How doth thee PuG's shame your name...) If you fail with a guild group im sure its either group composition or just bad luck :).
Right. Kharazan.
My Raid Community had a little fun in Khara, Downing Attumen and attempting Moroes on a Friday. I got attuned on the Sunday, So I will have to wait untill the next run (Being the only Holy/Disc priest attuned helps, I'll tell ya.) to see Attumen go down. We attempted Moroes on the Sunday and managed to slaughter him eventually. All good fun. We then went on to the Maiden and one-shotted her.. and now shes Nerfed. Free loot! I have the healing bracers she dropped, a VERY nice piece of kit there.
We moved on to the Opera event (Will go into some detail) the other day and got the Big Bad Wolf. (Note On The Following: This is not fake) Much like the story, the "oh what big teeth you have" chat boxes are quite fun.. and then you get. "Oh Granny, What phat lewts you have!".. yes.. To which the old lady responds to by morphing into a huge werewolf (Sons Of Arugal Model)and proceeds to yell "ALL THE BETTER TO OWN YOU WITH!!".. Yes.. We managed to get him down and are currently stopping at the Curator. Were not well enough geared to down him yet. All in good time.
Kharazan is a nice place, It has some icky pulls and you will wipe alot on your first goes there but its part of the process, and all in all its enjoyable. If you dont mind wiping.. Why raid?
Im not going to go into too much detail or describe the boss fights, WoWWiki (google it you lazy un's) has some decent tactics and stuff you can delve into. Will comment on the Opera Event though!
After talking to the Stage Manager he walks out onto the stage, and proceeds to talk about the play and such. Your confronted with a large audience of ghosts with cheering and clapping and stuff. It is very interesting and fun to experience. Nice event!
Thats all I can really think of so far. Will probably be hitting the Heroics/Instance Farming/Farming Early Kharazan for a while yet. As you know ive kind of left my shaman behind(Cylintir) and am currently focusing on the above with my Priest (Valiya) So feel free to stalk me on the armoury.
Anyways, Good luck to you all in your adventures. And get into Kharazan will ya? :).
